Day(1)Yangon/Paya(280Km)Approximate Five and half driving hr.
Leave Yangon around 7:00 AM. Several photo stops enroute. Arrive Pyay. Lunch at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing to China town and the market to look around the region. Shwesandaw pagoda is on a hill, where you can get the beautiful view of the Ayeyarwaddy river. Leisure and dinner at hotel.



Day(2)Pyay/Akauktaung/Htonebo/Pantaung/Pyay

Leave hotel at 8:00 AM. Take a boat to Akauktaung trip along Ayeyarwaddy river. Enjoy scenery taking 2:15 hrs boat trip. Akauktaung is former custom gate for the merchants' sailing boats. Akauktaung is noted for its Buddha statues curved out of a rock wall by patiently done since two centuries ago. Lunch is served at local restaurant in Htonebo. Continue to Pyay via Pantaung. En-route stop at Padaung to observe pottery cottages. Related with the Shreshketra era. Leisure and overnight at hotel.

Day (3) Pyay/Yangon
Leave hotel at 8:00 AM.Visit Stikshetra the old Pyu city that attained its height of prosperity between 500 AD to 900 AD. The old city is 8 Km south of Pyay. The archaeological department maintained the valuable antiques in the museum. One may take a bullock cart riding two and half hours to look around old city. Return to hotel and lunch. Back to Yangon.
