This newly opened beach is located in Ayeyarwaddy delta region
facing the Andaman Sea. It can be reached within 5 and a half
hours by car from Yangon. The beach is 9 miles long, and provides
breathtaking vistas and views of the Bay of Bengal at sunset.
Evergreen tropical rain forests on the slopes of the Rakhine
Mountain range serves as a back-drop for the white sand and
the crystal blue water of the Ngwe Saung Beach.
This is the best place to relax after having a cultural stunning
visit of upper Myanmar. Walking on the golden sand beach, tasting
the fresh seafood, swimming in the clear green waters, sipping
the coconut water, talking to the local fisherman, and enjoying
the quiet surrounding are the main activities at this beach
of bay of Bengal.
